Geolime LLC is a telematics and IoT solutions provider. The Company has created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate its firm commitment to the privacy of its visitors and customers. This Privacy Policy applies to: our Website, our public-facing contact emails (alerts@iotplot.com, alerts@fleetometer.com, support@iotplot.com, support@fleetometer.com, billing@iotplot.com, billing@fleetometer.com, sales@iotplot.com, sales@fleetometer.com, info@iotplot.com, info@fleetometer.com, privacy@iotplot.com and privacy@geolime.com), products and services owned or controlled by Geolime and its affiliates, including but not limited to IoTplot, Fleetometer and to associated applications (“Apps”) (collectively, the “Service(s)”). It describes how we handle Personal Information, including precise geolocation data.
The Company is committed to respecting your privacy and recognizing your need for appropriate protection and management of Personal Information/data and personally identifiable information you share with us (the phrases “Personal Information”, “Personal Data” and “Personally Identifiable Information” mean any information by which you, individually, can be identified, such as your name, address, telephone number, etc.). We do not collect personally identifiable information on our Website unless you voluntarily submit it to us. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you when you visit the Website about: how we collect or obtain information, what type of information we collect, how we use such information, with whom we may share the information and for what purpose, your privacy rights, the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to review and correct, your information, and how to contact us. We are committed to respecting your privacy and follow high national and international standards, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 (GDPR) and other current state Privacy protection laws such as the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable laws. By accessing or using our Service, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of information that may include Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy and the Company’s associated Terms of Service.
A Special Notice about Children
The Company does not sell products or applications to children (under the age of 18) and children are not eligible to use the Website for that purpose and we ask that children do not submit any Personal Information to us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from children, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. Children under the age of 18 may only use the Website, with the involvement and supervision of a parent or guardian, solely for purposes of research and education.

We collect Personal Information provided directly by you or collected automatically when interacting with our Services. Anytime that you provide Personal Information you will be required to formally indicate that you have read and are now agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
When you access an application, order a product or subscribe to a service, we will ask you to provide the following Personal Information directly:

- Business/company name
- Company financial information
- Payment information
- Job title or occupation or position within company
- Username or User ID, or ID (for limited identification purposes)

- Authentication & Security: Password or passcode or authentication code; hints and security information for account access and authentication

In general, you may visit various pages of the Website without telling us who you are or revealing any Personal Information about yourself. We, or our web hosting provider, may track the Internet domain address (“Internet Protocol or IP address”) from which people visit the Website and analyze this data for trends and statistics, but individual users will remain anonymous unless they voluntarily tell us who they are. Devices that are purchased from or provided by Geolime, for geolocation Services will also provide us with information, automatically. Such Device related or generated information is collected strictly for commercial purposes and is collected as de-identified data, meaning data that may not reasonably be linked to an identifiable natural person. Personal Information that we collect automatically:
- Precise geolocation data: this includes the exact location of your device, obtained through GPS, Wi-Fi, or other means
- Fleet Data: including vehicle location, identification number, telematic device information, and other related telemetry data
- User Interaction with our SaaS platform: such as IP Address, login information, user preferences, and platform usage patters
- Time Zone
- Device model
- Unique device identifiers
- Information about the operating system or its version
- Mobile operator and network information
- Device storage information
- Version of your device’s system
- Data about your use of the Services, including:
o Frequency of use
o Areas and features of the Services that you access, visit or use; and
o Engagement with particular features
Whether or not you choose to provide the information we request is entirely up to you. But if you choose not to provide the information we request, you may not be able to purchase products or applications, or access certain Services and/or content on the Website. We neither use automated decision-making nor your Personal Information to automatically assess aspects of your personality (no automated profiling).
The Purpose and Grounds for Collection and Use of Personal and Business Information
- To provide and maintain our Services: such as fulfilling orders and providing customer support, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
- Processing Precise Geolocation Data: to provide location-based services, such as real-time vehicle tracking, route optimization, and other location-based services, analyze trends, and improve user experience.
- To manage your Account: to manage your registration as a user of the Services. The Personal Data you provide can give you access to different functionalities of the Services that are available to you as a registered user.
- For the performance of a contract with you or your company: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services you have purchased or of any other contract with Geolime through the Services.
- To provide you with special offers, news and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information.
- To contact you: to contact you by email, telephone calls, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application’s push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
- To manage and attend to your requests.
- For other analytical or statistical purposes, and improvement: we may use your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing and your experience.
- We keep collected information only so long as we need it to provide a Service to you, to fulfil our contractual obligations and the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including, as necessary when sharing such information with third parties whom Geolime relies on to provide a Service.
We will use your Personal Information based on one or more of the following legal bases depending on which features of the Service you use:
- Your consent. We will obtain your explicit consent where necessary. For example, on the registration screen when you give us explicit permission to process your Personal Information and provide Geolocation Services.
- A legitimate business interest. We may process your Personal Information in relation to the provision of Services to you, as an essential commercial function of our business.
- To fulfill our contractual obligations to you in order to provide the Services to you.
- Legal obligation: We may be obligated to process some of your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
We will keep your Personal Information only for as long as we need it to provide Services. This is also the case with any third party with whom we share your information with, e.g., to process certain information in order to perform our obligations to you. Once we no longer provide a Service to you or no longer need to use the information to comply with our contractual obligations to you, or with our legal or regulatory compliance obligations, we will either remove the information from our systems or de-identify it.
We also may ask you for Personal Information when you ask us for information, subscribe to a Company service or publication, or download information. Your Personal Information enables us to provide you with the information you have requested, fulfill your purchases, provide you with information regarding future products, services and events, allow you to participate in the interactive features of our Website when you choose to do so, and to provide customer service or support. Payment Data: If you choose to purchase a product or service from us, our payment processor will collect data necessary to process your payment which is stored by our payment processor (currently: Woo at https://woocommerce.com ) and you should review its privacy policies and contact our payment processor to inquire about privacy of your payment information.
Tracking: We may also collect data concerning your use of the Website, such as by using an embedded image in an email in order to track if you open our email communications and using a URL within our email that enables us to identify whether you have taken a follow-up action such as visiting the Website. This enables us to identify your interest in our company and allows us to offer you opportunities on issues of interest to you. We do not respond to Do Not Track requests.

European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
On May 25, 2018, the GDPR, a significant legislation of the European Union (EU) privacy law, took effect. The regulation prioritizes an individual’s right to control their Personal Information and created a universal standard for protection of Personal Information, now followed by many countries, including adoption of its terms and definitions, with variations, by U.S. states such as California and Virginia. Company is committed to following the GDPR’s principles by providing privacy protection to all our customers. How GDPR applies to Company?
Company is both a controller and processor of Personal Information, and that information is stored solely in the United States. We control the Personal Information of those with whom we directly interact. Examples include end-users who create Geolime solution accounts or fill out a form on our website. We are a processor of Personal Information for customers who have entrusted us with processing Personal Information, and utilize third party processors of Personal Information that we control. Examples of this include customer’s data that is uploaded to our cloud service platform, and contact information provided to us for a customer organization.
The GDPR lists legal bases that allow controllers (like Company) to process Personal Information, such as contractual necessity, legal obligation, vital interests, public interest, legitimate interest, and consent. As a for profit private corporation, the services we provide to customers are considered a contractual necessity or a legitimate interest. In other cases (e.g., geolocation, tracking), we obtain direct affirmative consent before collecting any Personal Information. Company is committed to protecting your Personal Information from any attacks or data breaches. We have implemented appropriate security controls throughout our business systems. In the event of a data breach, we will honor the regulatory requirements for notification, applicable under the law, including residence of our customers.

We will notify you directly of our privacy policy changes via email, to the contact email address you register with us. For questions about changes, please send an e-mail message to support@geolime.com Upon receipt of such changes, you will be provided an opportunity to withdraw if you do not agree with the change.
The Company aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Information. We do not conduct automatic profiling. If you wish to be informed what Personal Information we hold about you and if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us.

Consent to Disclosure of Sensitive Information
We obtain your consent for processing of sensitive information, such as precise geolocation data, through your affirmative act signifying a freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous agreement. Such consent may be obtained through a clear and conspicuous disclosure at the point of data collection, with an option for you to affirmatively opt-in. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Cookies
The Website uses session management cookie technology to improve the quality of your experience. A cookie is a small file that contains information sent by a website that is saved on your hard disk by your computer’s browser. Cookies store information that a website may need in order to personalize your experience and gather website statistical data. Opt Out

The Company contracts with a third party to maintain and host the Website and/or our platform for services. The third party has agreed to implement technology and security features and strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of your Personal Information from unauthorized access or improper use.

Security: How do we protect your information?

The Company reserves the right to modify the terms of this Privacy Policy at any time and in its sole discretion, by posting a change notice on this page or on a successor page.
